First of all, why should I choose Apparent?
As parents, we know better than anyone that life can be frenzied, confusing, and totally unpredictable. And as insurance professionals, we know that insurance can be dense, complicated, and universally frustrating.
We believed that insurance companies could do better. So we convinced our own parent company that it’d be a good idea to start an insurance company that truly caters to today’s parents. The result? Apparent Insurance.
We’re on a mission to make insurance work harder (but be easier) for parents of all kinds. We offer tailored features, discounts, and services designed specifically for different stages of your life as a family.

Insurance is confusing. How do I know what my policy covers?
Your policy documents are a great place to start. Your Declarations Page will show you your coverage limits & products, which drivers are covered, and which vehicles are covered. Give us a call and we are more than happy to walk you through it.
I already have insurance, when can I switch?
You can come join our family anytime during your current policy period! You do not have to wait until your policy expires. Once you start a policy with Apparent, you can cancel with your current Insurance Company so there is no lapse in coverage.
Will my credit score be affected by applying for an Apparent policy?
No. We use your Insurance Credit Score which is a “soft” credit check. This has no effect on your score.
What steps does Apparent take to make sure my information is secure?
We’re protecting your family and your property, why should your information be any different? To prevent cases of fraud or identity theft, Apparent encrypts all payment information you entrust to us. As an added layer of protection, all payment requests sent to our bank are encrypted. Internally, only a select number of individuals will have access to your information.
What kind of insurance does Apparent offer?
Apparent is an auto insurer, but we partner with the best of the best to provide additional insurance to help cover the things you love: Home, Renters, Umbrella, Motorcycle, & Life are all types of insurance we offer. Contact our Insurance Specialists to help get any of these quotes!
